The 2026 Big Ten football season kicked off in Chicago this morning with Big Ten Media Days. Prior to the start of the three-day program, the Big Ten Conference released its Preseason Honors list and it features three Indiana Hoosiers.
Wide receiver Charlie Becker, linebacker Rolijah Hardy and defensive lineman Tyrique Tucker all made the prestigious list.
Becker is coming off a breakout season where he stepped into a role after several injuries hit the Indiana receiving corps. He immediately made an impact and was impossible to take off the field. He made 34 catches for 679 yards with six touchdowns. He enters his junior season with sky-high expectations.
Hardy led the Hoosiers in tackles last season as a sophomore. He is back to help spearhead the linebacker group, along with Isaiah Jones. Tyrique Tucker is getting the recognition that not many interior linemen at IU have gotten before. Tucker is a game wrecker who can blow up opponents’ offensive lines. He had six sacks and 12 tackles for loss last year.
