Indiana and Butler Agree to Home-and-Home Exhibitions Starting in October

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana men’s basketball program will travel to Hinkle Fieldhouse for an exhibition game against Butler on Sunday, Oct. 11. Tip time and television designation will be announced at a later date.

Butler will play a return exhibition game to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in the 2027 preseason. 

The three-game Hoosier exhibition slate will feature games at Butler (Oct. 11), versus North Carolina (Oct. 18), and against Western Kentucky (Oct. 25). 

Indiana and Butler have met 55 times on the court with the Hoosiers claiming 40 victories. IU has played 20 previous games at Hinkle Fieldhouse, which opened in 1928, with 14 resulting in wins. Indiana last played at Butler to open the 1993-94 season.
