Countdown to 2026 Indiana Football- 49 Days Drew Clausen

Indiana LS Drew Clausen

The long snapper position is the most under-appreciated position on the field, mainly because you will only notice them if they do their job poorly. Drew Clausen brings 27 games of collegiate experience to Indiana this season. He provides a veteran presence at long snapper, and it’s a great time to learn about an unsung hero of football.

Height: 6’6”

Drew Clausen has been an Iowa kid his entire life, but will step outside of his comfort zone to bring his talents to Indiana. Indiana is still a Midwestern state, but it will serve as a location where he can be in a winning environment.

The long snapper out of Grimes, Iowa, first started his collegiate career at Northern Iowa and then transferred to Iowa State.

Clausen has been on the all-conference honor roll his entire career because he understands the value of his education.

The long snapper position is only talked about when something goes horribly wrong, so Hoosier fans should expect not to hear from Clausen throughout the season. That would be a success for the grad student.
