Drew Clausen brings 27 games of collegiate experience to Indiana this season. He provides a veteran presence at long snapper, and it’s a great time to learn about an unsung hero of football.

The long snapper out of Grimes, Iowa, first started his collegiate career at Northern Iowa and then transferred to Iowa State.
Clausen has been on the all-conference honor roll his entire career because he understands the value of his education.
The long snapper position is only talked about when something goes horribly wrong, so Hoosier fans should expect not to hear from Clausen throughout the season. That would be a success for the grad student.
