Countdown to 2026 Indiana Football- 52 Days Clayton Allen

The Hoosier Huddle Countdown to Kickoff is nearing the halfway point! As Curt Cignetti and his staff gear up for chapter three in Bloomington with another championship as the end goal, we at Hoosier Huddle continue with one of our favorite offseason content traditions, the countdown to kickoff.

Over the 100 days leading up to opening kickoff, we will highlight each player from this season’s roster. Today, we’ll highlight a player entering his fourth year with the Hoosiers, Clayton Allen.

Height: 6’2”

Weight: 209 pounds

Hometown: Fishers, Indiana

Class/Position: Redshirt Junior/Linebacker

Clayton Allen joined the program back in 2023 during Tom Allen’s final year as head coach as a walk-on to the team. A local athlete out of Hamilton Southeastern High School, Allen helped HSHS to its first regional title since 2005 in his final high school season. He ended his high school career having logged 103 career tackles and one interception. The dual-sport athlete also lettered in track and field as a hurdler.

Allen has yet to see any game action in his career, but can hope that his efforts will soon turn into playing time, potentially on special teams. He continues to learn behind a great linebacking crew, both players and staff.
