Countdown to 2026 Indiana Football- 79 Days Nico Radicic

Nico Radicic was a consistent force for Indiana last season as their place kicker. The redshirt junior out of Texas has never impressed anyone with elite power, but it is his consistent approach to the role that made him so vital in Indiana’s championship season last year.

Indiana’s kicking game has been extremely steady under Nico Radicic, as he completed 18/19 of his field goals. This season, Radicic seeks to make history. 

“I think I need to just keep sustaining it, not filling my head with the fact that I had two 90 percent years. My goal is to be the most accurate kicker in college history,” Radicic said. 

Radicic will need to build off the achievements he has already accomplished to do so. He was named Big Ten Bakken-Anderson Kicker of the Year in 2025. He also earned first-team All-Big Ten from the conference media and second-team from the coaches. 

Indiana’s offence being able to rely on a steady force to knock down every kick is going to be key for Indiana if they want to repeat as national champions. 

While Indiana needs his points, they will also likely look to him for kickoffs again this season. Radicic is very consistent in the kickoff game and will likely claim that job this season. 

Overall, Radicic wants to be the best Indiana kicker of all time, while also being the most accurate college kicker of all time. Look for Radicic to hit 90 percent of his field goals once again this season for the Hoosiers.
