The Hoosiers beat out Ohio State, Michigan State and others. Perez took an official visit to IU back in April and has also recently visited Michigan State and Stanford.

Perez is a 6’6″, 260-pound defensive lineman who projects as a defensive end. Perez’s long reach gives him the ability to defeat blocks fairly easily and he has enough speed and agility to chase down ball carriers. He also played tackle along the offensive line.
