The Countdown to Indiana Football continues as it hits day 96. Triston Abram dons the number 96 jersey for the Hoosiers. He is entering his second year with the program in a loaded, but youthful, defensive line room.

Abram is entering his redshirt freshman season with the Hoosiers after not appearing in a game in 2025. As a high school player at Christian Brothers in Missouri, Abram earned many accolades. He decided to come to Indiana over a late push from Michigan.
Abram has elite quickness of the line that can catch offensive linemen off guard. His wrestling background has helped develop his hand-fighting skills in the trenches as well.
The Hoosiers beefed up their edge rush position in the portal this winter, which will give Abram a chance to develop more and earn playing time on special teams. The path for playing time in a Cignetti program is through special teams and that may be where Abram has his first impact.
