Monsanna Torbert Jr. Commits to Indiana at the Navy All-American Bowl

At today’s Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Monsanna Torbert Jr. committed to coach Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers. Torbert is a four-star athlete in the class of 2027 according to 247 Sports. The Cincinnati, OH product ranks as the 14th overall athlete in his class: he projects as a defensive back at the collegiate level.

Monsanna Torbert Jr.’s 247 Recruiting Profile

Torbert led his Cincinatti-Taft team to an 11-1 record this year. Aside from his role in the secondary, he accounted for 30 total touchdowns as the team’s quarterback in 2025. The multi-sport athlete also plays basketball and averaged nearly 15 PPG last year as a sophomore.

As a highly-recruited prospect, Torbert committed to the Hoosiers over programs like Cincinatti and Pittsburgh. Torbert joins future teammate Ja’Hyde Brown as the second player to commit to the Hoosiers today in San Antonio.
