Ja’Hyde Brown Commits to Indiana at the Navy All-American Bowl

Today, the Hoosiers received a commitment from Ja’Hyde Brown, a wide receiver from
Louisville, KY. Brown is currently attending the Christian Academy of Louisville in the class of 2027. He is ranked as the eighth overall prospect in Kentucky and a top 50 wide receiver in the class of 2027, according to 247Sports.

The elite athlete made his commitment today at the Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
This season, Brown hauled in 98 passes for 1,556 yards to go along with 24 touchdowns. Brown
was also named the KFCA Class 3A player this year, as a junior.


This commitment marks a major win on the recruiting trail for Curt Cignetti and co. To secure
Brown’s commitment, the Hoosiers beat out programs like Alabama, Ole Miss, Louisville, and
Vanderbilt. A notable blue-chip recruit, Brown has the potential to make an immediate impact
in Bloomington.
