Peach Bowl: Initial Injury Report (No. 1 Indiana vs. No. 5 Oregon)

Oregon's football team faces significant injuries ahead of the Peach Bowl, with freshman running back Jordan Davison, the team's leading scorer, ruled out. The initial injury report for the Peach Bowl and College Football Playoff Semifinal between No. 1 Indiana and No. 5 Oregon was released on Wednesday night. Below is the reportL

For the Hoosiers there are no surprises. The additional players out are ones who are in the transfer portal. Kickoff specialist Brendan Franke was listed as questionable ahead of the Rose Bowl, but ultimately ruled out and ruled out in this reports.

For the Ducks, the big news is the loss of freshman running back Jordon Davison who led the team with 15 rushing touchdowns. Wide receiver Evan Stewart continues to be listed as out. Oregon will be very thin at running back as Davison and junior Jayden Limar are both out. Limar had 246 yards on 46 carries this season. Makhi Hughes entered the transfer portal after playing in six games leaving the Ducks with just Noah Whittingham and Dierre Hill as the only backs with over 17 carries this season.
