The Hoosiers are currently gearing up for a Big Ten Championship showdown with Ohio State on Saturday, but today is National Signing Day, the perfect time to look ahead to year three under Curt Cignetti. Here’s an overview of Indiana’s Offensive Commits for 2026:

Sam Simpson, OL, River Falls, WI (River Falls HS)
6’4” 275lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 48 ranked IOL in 2026 class Highlights
Ranked among the top IOL in the class of 2026 and one of the best players in Wisconsin Simpson chose the Hoosiers over several other Big 10 programs. A big body, Simpson brings some solid size and depth to the interior of Indiana’s offensive line. At 6’4” 275 lb he will likely begin as a depth/rotational piece along the interior of the line, with the ability to develop into a guard or center in the years to come.
Benjamin Novak, OL, Merrillville, IN (Andrean HS)
6’6” 310lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 65 ranked IOL in 2026 class Highlights
At 6’6” 310lb, Novak brings elite size and strength to the Hoosiers’ line and has the versatility to play either guard or tackle depending on the team’s needs. Beyond his physical attributes, Indiana’s ability to flip his commitment from Wisconsin was a huge win along the recruiting trail. With his size and versatility, Novak could help solidify the offensive tackle position for years to come, as he helps to provide physicality on the edges of the Indiana line.
Lavar Keys, WR, Hyattsville, MD (Dematha Catholic)
5’9” 165lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 108 ranked WR in 2026 class Highlights
Capitalizing on the firing of James Franklin, Indiana was able to flip Penn State commit Lavar Keys. A true speedster receiver, Keys comes to IU by way of Dematha Catholic, one of the powerhouse programs on the East Coast, where he had 63 catches for 13 touchdowns as a junior. Given his size and speed, Keys will be a threat lining up in the slot. Since he is not an early enrollee, it may take him a bit longer to develop, however his speed will likely allow him to see the field as a gadget guy in situational scenarios.
Trevor Gibbs, Tight End, Crown Point HS, Crown Point, Indiana
6’4” 235 lbs. 247Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star (88.56) Highlights
Gibbs was a standout two-way player for Crown Point as a tight end and an edge rusher. While listed as an edge of recruiting sites, IU will have Gibbs start his career at tight end. He was better on defense in high school, but still has a lot of potential at tight end. He’s athletic, tough and can make plays with the ball. IU needs some help at tight end and while Gibbs probably isn’t a contender to be a major player in 2026, the Hoosiers need to balance out the room.
Kortez Rupert, WR, East St. Louis, IL (East St. Louis HS)
5’11” 155lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 231 ranked WR in 2026 class Highlights
At 5’ 11” 155lb, Rupert will likely have to put on some weight to compete in the physical Big Ten. However, given his speed, Rupert will likely see snaps on special teams as he develops and works into the wide receiver rotations. Look for him to develop into a true kick returning and slot threat as he gains experience in college.
PJ MacFarlane, TE, Middletown, OH (Lakota East HS)
6’5” 205lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 62 ranked TE in 2026 class Highlights
At 6’5” 205lb, MacFarlane has a prototypical tight end build which will allow him to be effective both as a blocker and a passcatcher. Like Keys, MacFarlane will not be enrolling early which could slow down his development, but given his size and ceiling, he has the potential to be a multi-threat tight end for the Hoosiers.
Parker Elmore, TE, Columbus, IN (Columbus North HS)
6’5” 225lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 44 ranked TE in 2026 class Highlights
An Indiana native, Elmore adds size and depth to the Indiana TE room. Despite missing time due to transferring high schools and a knee injury, Elmore has good movement skills and some positional flexibility, which could help IU fill some gaps in their roster. While his development may take some time, he has a high potential in both the receiving and run-blocking game.
Jayreon Campbell ,RB, Powder Springs, GA (McEachern HS)
5’10” 190lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 73 ranked RB in 2026 class Highlights
A beefy back with enough size and strength to make the jump to the college game, Campbell has good burst and quickness in addition to his physical running style. As a junior Campbell rushed for 930 yards and 18 touchdowns on 168 carries, showcasing both his ability to find the endzone and his durability. As the first running back to commit to the Hoosiers in 2026, Campbell has the ability to become a contributor as a change of pace back.
C.J. Scifres, OL, Greenwood, IN (Center Grove HS)
6’6” 325lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 152 ranked OL in 2026 class Highlights
Another in-state prospect from Greenwood, IN, Scifres’ commitment helps to strengthen the in-state pipeline with Center Grove high school. At 6’6 325lb Scifres is another big-bodied lineman who will provide some much needed depth and size to the interior of the Indiana offensive line.
Kenton Mondeau, OL, Eau Claire, WI (Eau Claire North HS)
6’7” 315lb 24/7 Composite Ranking: 3-star, No. 112 ranked OT in 2026 class Highlights
At 6’6” 315lb, Mondeau brings a towering presence to Indiana’s offensive line. Mondeau uses his size to his advantage, bringing a lot of physicality and aggression in both his run and pass blocking. Like Keys and MacFarlane, Mondeau will not be enrolling early, which could slow down his development. However given his physical traits and upside, he has the potential to grow into a reliable starter on the IU line.
With this group, Indiana has added some size and depth to the trenches with some big body lineman, speed on the edges with a pair of speedy wide receivers, and a couple versatile tight ends. While a lot of these commits are developmental, they provide a solid foundation for the Hoosiers to develop and continue their offensive success.
