The final regular season home game for the Indiana Hoosiers will have a sold out recruiting section as the IU staff welcomes over 100 prospects to Bloomington. There will be eight class of 2026 commitments at the game. However, eyes are drawn to the flip targets and some big fish in later classes including five-star receiver Monshun Sales out of Lawrence North (Ind.).

Class of 2026 IU Commits
The Hoosiers welcome eight members of their 22 member class of 2026 that ranks 29th nationally according to 247Sports. IU could add another member in wide receiver Lavar Keys, a former Penn State commitment, later this weekend. The Hoosiers want to add a running back, safety and offensive lineman to the class as well. There are some flip targets on campus as well.

Casares’ HUDL profile lists him as a 6’1” 203-pound back. He has 1,369 rushing yards this season with 12 touchdowns. He averages 6.9 yards per carry.

Starling has six offers including Ole Miss, Purdue and Syracuse. He does not have a reported offer from IU however.
Class of 2027
The Hoosiers already have one commitment, four-star quarterback Jameson Purcell, but will have multiple high level targets on campus Saturday. Obviously, the name that jumps off the page is five-star in-state wide receiver Monshun Sales out of Lawrence North in Indianapolis. Kesean Bowman is another five-star prospect that will be at IU Saturday.

Sales would be the crown jewel of the 2027 class and really boost IU’s early efforts in the 2027 class, however he will take his time to go through the recruiting process, but IU has a chance. It didn’t hurt that former Lawrence North wide receiver Omar Cooper was all over TVs this week.
