Jasai Miles joins the Hoosiers as the second transfer in Head Coach Darian DeVries’ class to come from The University of North Florida. He arrives with fellow Osprey turned Hoosier Josh Harris. Both Miles and Harris played big roles for the Ospreys last season, as they both started nearly every game possible.

Miles specifically had a great season with the Ospreys last season. He put up 15 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, and 2 assists per game on 43% shooting from the field, 34% shooting from three, and 63% shooting from the free throw line. Miles’ three point shooting looks like it could grow even further, too. He has a picture perfect stroke and improved on his percentages from his freshman year to his sophomore year. Now at Indiana with an offense and coaching staff that prioritizes and encourages three point shooting, Miles could easily jump into the 35%+ area of three point shooting.

Miles has all the characteristics to do so as well. He is a hard worker with a long wingspan who brings a confident heir to the basketball court. He isn’t afraid of any shot and isn’t afraid to match up anywhere on the court on defense either. Against Power 5 competition last year, Miles performed strongly as well. He dropped 11 points and 9 rebounds against South Carolina, 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists against Georgia Tech, and 14 points and 8 rebounds against now Big Ten foe Nebraska.

In short, Miles can play ball on the biggest stages, and that is exactly what the Hoosiers will need out of him. He was an ASUN All-Conference performer at North Florida per iuhoosiers.com and will look to replicate that success with the Hoosiers during the 2025/2026 season. Miles is one to watch and certainly has a high ceiling under this revamped Hoosier offense.

The Hoosiers are set to open the regular season at Assembly Hall on November 5th against Alabama A&M. Stay locked in with Hoosiers Huddle for all things Indiana Basketball, Indiana Football, and all other Indiana sports – all the time.
