Hoosiers DL Kellan Wyatt Suffers Knee Injury Against Michigan State

Indiana Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti announced on Monday that defensive lineman Kellan Wyatt has suffered a knee injury against Michigan State and will miss time.

Indiana Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti announced on Monday that defensive lineman Kellan Wyatt has suffered a knee injury against Michigan State and will miss time.

“Right now looks like a long term injury, not sure if we’ll see him the rest of the season or not.” Cignetti said.

Wyatt was having an All-Big Ten caliber season through seven games after transferring from Maryland. He has made 27 total tackles, eight tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

The Hoosiers will turn to Stephen Daley to replace Wyatt. Daley is a transfer from Kent State and has played well with 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
