The Cream & Crimson Scrimmage Presented by Smithville will provide Hoosier Nation with its first official look at the program under first-year head coach Darian DeVries.

Indiana began an offseason of change with the hiring of DeVries, the 31st head coach in program history, on March 19, 2025. The new-look staff comprised of assistant coaches Drew Adams, Rod Clark, Kenny Johnson, and Nick Norton brought in the 10th-ranked transfer portal class according to 247Sports.

Fifth-year senior guard Lamar Wilkerson (15.7 points per game) and sixth-year senior guard Tayton Conerway (13.0) led IU in scoring over the course of the week.

The event will be free, and attendees are asked to bring a canned food item to donate to the Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
