Overall Opponent Record Remaining Schedule: 21-6

No. 9 Illinois (3-0): Last Week Win vs. Western Michigan 38-0

Illinois comes into Bloomington riding high off a shut out of Western Michigan. They started slow, but it was a ho hum win.

Iowa (2–1): Last Week Win vs. UMass 47-7

Does this change how people feel about Iowa’s offense? Probably not, but Iowa got back into the win column.

No. 4 Oregon (3-0): Last Week Win at. Northwestern 34-14

A sleepy start for Oregon ended in a yawner of a win. Teams going east from the west coast and struggling is a thing.

Michigan State (3-0): Last Week Win vs Youngstown State 41-24

The Spartans offense is really good. However, the defense struggled with an FCS foe and it took them 3 quarters to put the Penguins away.

UCLA (0-3): Last Week Loss vs. New Mexico 35-10

UCLA may be on 0-12 watch. The Bruins have a bye week next week before a trip to Northwestern. It’s ugly in Westwood, it could get uglier.

Maryland (3-0): Last Week Win vs. Towson 44-17

Maryland is 3-0 with a trip to Wisconsin coming up.

No. 2 Penn State (3-0): Last Week Win vs. Villanova 52-6

For all the crap IU has gotten from the national media for their scheduling. Penn State did the same thing and has caught no strays.

Wisconsin (2-1): Last Week Loss at Alabama 38-14

This game was not as close as the final score indicated. Wisconsin’s offense looked dead in the water for most of the game and the defense couldn’t stop Alabama’s athletes.

Purdue (2-1): Last Week Loss vs. USC 33-17

Purdue is better, but four red zone picks doomed a game that was delayed three hours.
