Hoosiers Creep Up in Week 3 AP and Coaches Polls

The Indiana Hoosiers (2-0) moved up slightly in both national polls after a 56-9 win over Kennesaw State (0-2). IU was ranked 23rd in the AP and 21st in the Coaches poll after week one. This week the Hoosiers are 22nd in the AP and 19th in the Coaches poll.

The Indiana Hoosiers (2-0) moved up slightly in both national polls after a 56-9 win over Kennesaw State (0-2). IU was ranked 23rd in the AP and 21st in the Coaches poll after week one. This week the Hoosiers are 22nd in the AP and 19th in the Coaches poll.

This is the 14th consecutive week that IU has been ranked in the AP poll and the 81st week ever (total weeks ranked).

The Big Ten has six teams in the AP Top 25, including four in the top 10.

1. Ohio State

2. Penn State

4. Oregon

9. Illinois

22. Indiana

23. Michigan

Receiving Votes: USC and Nebraska

The No. 22 Hoosiers return to the field on Friday night to play Indiana State (2-0) at Merchants Bank Field at Memorial Stadium.
