The Indiana Hoosiers football program added two non-conference opponents to their 2026 and 2028 schedules. The Hoosiers will play the Howard University Bison on September 12th, 2026 and the Miami (OH) Redhawks on September 16th, 2028.
FBSchedules.com first reported the addition and an IU source confirmed the report to Hoosier Huddle.
According to the report IU “will pay the Bison a $525,000 guarantee for playing the game, according to the copy of the contract.”
“The RedHawks will receive a $1.3 million guarantee for their efforts, per the contract copy.” The report says.
Indiana came under fire from national media and on social media for dropping a future series with Virginia. This is sure to stoke those flames.
