2025 Countdown to Kickoff: #17 Daniel Ndukwe
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 244 pounds
Hometown: Lithonia, Georgia (Arabia Mountain)
Class/Position:Sophomore / Defensive Line
Fall camp is past the half way mark and game week will be upon Hoosier Nation in a matter of days. With 17 days until the Indiana Hoosiers kickoff against the Old Dominion Monarchs, we take a look at one of the more exciting young players on IU, Daniel Ndukwe.
Ndukwe came to IU as a three-star prospect with intrigue and ended up being one of the more productive true freshmen on the 2024 team. He played in 12 of IU’s 13 games and was a major factor on special teams as he blocked two punts. He had one total tackle.

This season Ndukwe has bulked up his frame, putting on close to 20 pounds. He is no longer the skinny kid with long arms. He looks like a Big Ten defensive end. His role will increase, but he will be behind an All-American and several veterans on the defensive line. Ndukwe will be in the rotation and his special teams ability makes him a valuable piece to the Hoosiers.
The Hoosier Huddle Countdown to Kickoff continues each and every day, so be sure to check back often for the latest profile piece!
