The 2025 Indiana football season is so close you can almost taste it. The Hoosiers kickoff fall camp today and we take a look at walk-on defensive back Anthony Chung.
Chung was an All-State selection his senior season at Homestead and put up huge numbers as a junior with 95 tackles and three interceptions.
He has not seen any playing time after walking on to the IU team in the fall of 2023, but has contributed both on the practice field and in the classroom. Chung was an Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2024.
The path to playing time for Chung is not easy or even clear with the talent IU has in the defensive backfield. However, with a couple potential games that could get out of hand, one would hope he gets his hard work rewarded and see the field.
