The Big Ten Conference announced their Preseason Honors on Tuesday in Las Vegas to kick off Big Ten Media Days. Hoosier defenders D’Angelo Ponds and Mikail Kamara were two of the 16 selections picked by a media panel.
Both Ponds and Kamara are preseason All-America selections after standout 2024 seasons for the Hoosiers.
Ponds started in 12 of Indiana’s 13 games last year. He made 55 total tackles and intercepted three passes including one that went for a touchdown.
Kamara was the Hoosiers leader in tackles for loss in 2024 with 15 including 10 sacks.
