Assembly Ball, a team made up of many former IU basketball players, were upset in the first round of the TBT by Fail Harder 89-76.
After leading by two at halftime, Assembly Ball was done in by a terrible third quarter. Fail Harder outscored Assembly Ball 30-19 in the third quarter and was carried by outstanding three point shooting.
Assembly Ball started the game well as they raced out to a 14-3 lead behind five points from Al Durham. Durham opened the scoring by hitting a three pointer in his first TBT game.
Fail Harder used a 12-4 run to close the first quarter with a 25-21 lead.
Assembly Ball won the second quarter 18-12 as Juwan Morgan and Race Thompson started to play well down low. Assembly Ball did outscore Fail Harder in the paint (statistic).

In the third quarter Fail Harder hit three three-pointers as they opened up a 14-point lead.
The lead would balloon to 80-65 in the fourth quarter. The TBT uses the Elam Rule to end games and the target score was set at 88. Assembly Ball would not get closer than 87-76 before Fail Harder could get to 88 points.
Assembly Ball’s Al Durham led all scorers with 23 points and Darius Adams led Fail Harder with 21 points.
