The Hoosier Huddle Countdown to IUFB Kickoff is flying along as it hits day 52. Today, we take a look at walk-on linebacker Clayton Allen.
The Fishers, Indiana native was a standout on Hamilton Southeastern’s regional title team in 2022. As a senior he made 76 tackles and 4.5 sacks. He topped 100 career tackles at HSE as well.
Allen joined the Hoosier program under former head coach Tom Allen in 2023. He did not play in any games and redshirted.
Allen stuck with the program in Curt Cignetti’s first season. While he did not see any playing time, Allen excelled off the field earning Academic All-Big Ten honors.
As a redshirt sophomore, Allen hopes his hard work is rewarded with playing time in some shape or form.
