Report: Kurtis Rourke Played 2024 Season with Torn ACL

Quarterback Kurtis Rourke played the entire 2024 season for the Indiana Hoosiers with a torn ACL, according to his agent. Despite this injury, he led the team to an 11-2 record, setting a program record with 29 touchdown passes. Rourke will undergo surgery before the NFL Combine.

According to his agent, Casey Muir, quarterback Kurtis Rourke played the entire 2024 season with a torn ACL for the Hoosiers. The injury occured in August and Rourke will undergo surgery prior to the NFL Combine.

Rourkes started 12 of the Hoosiers 13 games in 2024, missing one because of a broken thumb that required surgery. He set the program record for single season touchdown passes with 29 and threw for 3,042 yards. The Hoosiers went 11-2 (8-1), the most wins in a season for IU and qualified for the College Football Playoff.
