Hoosiers Fall to 10th in Latest College Football Playoff Rankings After Losing to Ohio State

The Indiana Hoosiers, now 10-1 (7-1), suffered their first loss of the season, falling 38-15 to Ohio State, which dropped them to 10th in rankings. If the CFP began today, they would be the 11th seed. They face Purdue next, needing a win and losses from Ohio State and Penn State to reach the Big Ten title game.

While the Hoosiers are ranked 10th, IU would be the 11th seed if the CFP started tomorrow.

The seeds for the CFP rankings are as follows:

1. Oregon

2. Texas

3. Miami (FL)

4. Boise State

5. Ohio State

6. Penn State

7. Notre Dame

8. Georgia

9. Tennessee

10. SMU

11. Indiana

12. Arizona State

The Hoosiers wrap up the regular season against Purdue in the Old Oaken Bucket Game in Bloomington. IU can still clinch a spot in the Big Ten title game with Ohio State and Penn State losses combined with an IU win.
