Position: Linebacker

Indiana was in need of depth at linebacker entering this offseason and Curt Cignetti’s staff found Rolijah Hardy in the transfer portal to help. The Florida native out of Lakeland High School spent the past year attending the Naval Academy Prep School. He did not see any playing action last season, but he had a productive high school career. In the fall of 2022, he was named The Ledger’s 2022 Big School Defensive Player of the Year and tallied 101 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, five QB pressures, and a fumble recovery. His team went undefeated and culminated the season with a state championship. He was ranked a 2-star prospect by Rivals.

Hardy will likely serve as a depth piece this upcoming season for the Hoosiers, though with a thin linebacking room, he could find his way onto the field in a reserve fashion.
