Curt Cignetti and the Indiana Hoosiers have a whole lot of momentum right now and it continued with another commitment. This time, they landed Florida wide receiver Myles Kendrick. Kendrick is currently unrated by 247Sports but that is expected to change when new ratings come out later this summer. The 6’0” and 165-pound prospect played both corner and receiver for the Riverside Generals in Jacksonville, Florida.
He chose IU over offers from South Florida, Michigan State, Appalachian State, Liberty and Colorado. Kendrick took his official visit to Bloomington on June 18 and committed to IU after a trip to Tampa for the South Florida Bulls.

Kendrick joins fellow wide receivers Davion Chandler and LeBron Bond in the 2025 class. All three of them are considered shifty and quick prospects that are capable of beating the opposition with speed. Kendrick also runs track and he has times of 11.03 in the 100 and 23.12 in the 200. He had 40 receptions for 710 yards plus nine touchdowns as a junior and added 96 rushing yards with another touchdown.
IU is losing a number of wide receivers after the 2024 season and strong campaigns from players like Donovan McCulley could result in additional departures to the NFL. As a result, IU is expected to add four or five incoming freshmen at the position as well as pursue a couple of veteran transfers in the portal. Kendrick is another valuable piece as IU looks to restock that group.
