Summer is officially here and the countdown to kickoff moves into the 60s. Today’s featured player is freshman kicker Quinn Warren from Indianapolis.

Freshman kicker Quinn Warren was a three-sport athlete at Brebeuf Jesuit in Indianapolis. He played football, soccer and basketball and is coming to IU to provide some depth in the kicking game.
Warren kicked off, punted and handled field goal duty for the Braves over the last two seasons. He also had 61 total yards on offense, he’s a great athlete. As a senior, Warren hit 8-of-11 field goals after going 5-of-10 as a junior. He also has hit 70-of-76 extra points over the last two seasons. In the punt game, Warren had 59 career punts with an average of 37.6 yards and pinned opponents inside the 20-yard line 21 times. On kickoffs he had 60 touchbacks on 121 attempts. He has a big leg and usually you do not see 6’6” kickers, but Warren could be in play to handle kickoff duties if he shows he can put the ball in the end zone early in his career.
