Hoosiers Land Safety Byron Baldwin Over Kentucky, Minnesota and Rutgers

The Indiana Hoosiers secured their seventh commitment for the 2025 class with safety Byron Baldwin, a 6’0”, 185-pound prospect from Maryland. Ranked three stars by Rivals.com, he has offers from 19 schools and recorded impressive stats in his junior season, showcasing strong defensive skills and athleticism.

The Indiana Hoosiers picked up their seventh commitment of the 2025 class with safety prospect Byron Baldwin. The 6’0” 185-pound Maryland native held offers from 19 total schools including Tennessee, Kentucky, Minnesota, Rutgers and Wisconsin.

Baldwin is ranked a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and has yet to receive a ranking from 247Sports. During his junior season Baldwin made 89 tackles with four pass breakups, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. He shows great awareness for the ball on defense and can make up ground with his athleticism.

Baldwin is due to take an official visit to IU on June 21st and was offered in January.
