Hoosiers Pick Up Third Commitment of the Day as Daniel Ndukwe Flips to IU

Edge defensive lineman Daniel Ndukwe, a three-star prospect from Lithonia, Georgia, has committed to the Indiana Hoosiers, following head coach Curt Cignetti. Ndukwe, who previously committed to James Madison, recorded impressive stats in his senior season, totaling 35 tackles and excelling in track and field events.

The Hoosiers picked up their third new commitment of the day as edge defensive lineman Daniel Ndukwe will follow head coach Curt Cignetti to Bloomington.

Ndukwe is a three-star prospect out of Lithonia, Georgia (Arabia Mountain) and is listed at 6’3” and 225 pounds. He had committed to James Madison and Cignetti back in July.

He played both ways as a junior in high school and finished his senior season with 35 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, one fumble recovery, and one forced fumble.

Ndukwe also runs track and throws the shot put. As a junior, clocked a 11.49 in the 100-meter dash. Also tossed a 43’9” effort in the shot put.
