The Hoosier Huddle countdown to IUFB kickoff marches on! For the 100 days leading up to kickoff, we at Hoosier Huddle will feature every player from the 2023 roster in anticipation of Indiana’s first game of the season against Ohio State in Bloomington. Today, we will highlight Sam Tallen.

Hometown: Bloomington, Illinois
Position: Linebacker
Year: Redshirt Freshman
Height/Weight: 6’4”/226 pounds
Tallen joined the Hoosier program in the fall camp of the 2022 season and took a redshirt year. He has not played a live snap for the Hoosiers.
Tallen is a stand-up linebacker who joins a lively position room with eleven total players, including four seniors. He will be hopeful to play meaningful special team snaps and put in good performances on the scout team.
