Once a walk-on from the 2019 season, Grieser earned his first playing time in the 2021 season against Idaho. While he didn’t record any tackles in that game, he’s been working hard every year to get into the fold. Although the young DB hasn’t had much game exposure, Grieser certainly is a player favorite, nabbing an impressive one-handed interception in drills.
Grieser also had his fair share of athletic honors in high school. He was a three-year football and basketball letter-winner, as well as all-state football selection his senior year. As well as his athletic recognitions, he also earned the distinction of being his class salutatorian.
