At Huber Winery Wednesday night Tom Allen said he was looking to add an offensive skill player, on Thursday afternoon he did. The Hoosiers gained the services of Louis Moore, a six-foot-one wide receiver out of Navarro College in Mesquite, Texas. The Hoosiers were his only Power Five offer, but he did hold three other FBS offers.
“We rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character and character produces hope.”

Moore has been a Navarro for two seasons where he put up 713 yards and five touchdowns in 16 games. During his sophomore year, Moore averaged 17.8 yards per catch with a long reception of 75 yards. He also played defensive back in 2021 making 18 total tackles. Moore is a terrific athlete who IU hopes can refine his skills and become a contributor.
The Hoosiers are searching for depth in the receiving room and that is what IU hopes Moore brings to the table along with some explosiveness. However, Moore told Hoosier Huddle on Thursday that he will be playing safety a IU.
