Bill Mallory, 82, passed away on Friday May 25th after it was announced he had emergency brain surgery after a fall on May 24th.
Mallory coached the Indiana University Football program from 1984-1996 where he complied a 69-77-3 record while leading the Hoosiers to six of their 11 all-time bowl appearances and two top-20 finishes. Prior to coming to Bloomington Mallory made head coaching stops at Miami (OH), Colorado and Northern Illinois. His career head coaching record was 168-129-4. Mallory was inducted to the Indiana University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2002.
