Countdown to IUFB Kickoff: 83 Days (Austin Dorris)

Written By Sammy Jacobs (@Hoosier_Huddle)

While we found out that we have to wait a couple more hours for IUFB to begin on September 5th we still are moving onto Day 83 of our Countdown to Kickoff. Today’s profile features freshman tight end Austin Dorris #83

Name: Austin Dorris

HT/WT: 6’5, 225 lbs.

Position: Tight End

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Shadyside, OH

Career Highlights:

Dorris signed with the Hoosiers in February and had an outstanding senior season playing quarterback at Shadyside. He was named to the All-Ohio Division VII team for his efforts accounting for 2,400 total yards and 31 TDs.

2015 Outlook:

Dorris will likely redshirt in 2015 as the Hoosiers have some depth at the tight end position, but should have a promising career with the Hoosiers.
