Devonte Williams, RB, Potomac, MD 247 Sports Composite Ranking 3-Star
The multipurpose tailback had a stellar senior season at Maryland’s Bullis High School, rushing for 1,899 yards and 18 touchdowns on 232 carries and making 22 catches for 354 yards and 5 touchdowns. Williams was recognized for his outstanding efforts, as he was named to the Washington Post All-Met and the Montgomery County Gazette Teams.
Running Back’s Coach Deland McCullough has to feel especially elated about the addition of Williams, as he brings a unique skillset to the position. He demonstrates great explosiveness, elusiveness, and is a home-run threat every time he touches the ball in his Hudl highlight tape.
The native of Potomac, Maryland, also had offers from Old Dominion, SMU, Buffalo, Charlotte, James Madison, Toledo, Western Michigan, and Temple.
