The 2013 season has flown by, and now it is time for the annual Bucket Game.  While neither team is playing for a bowl berth, this game has plenty of meaning for the instate rivals.  The Hoosiers can regain some momentum, lost because of the lack of a bowl berth, by winning back the Bucket and controlling bragging rights and a recruiting advantage over the 1-10 Boilers.  Let’s hop into the final week of the season and look at some numbers that will define this match-up.

116- This is the 116th all time match-up between the Boilermakers and the Hoosiers and the 89th battle for the Old Oaken Bucket.

37-72-6- Indiana’s record against Purdue.  The Hoosiers have only won twice in the last 10 years, 2007 and 2010.

21- Hoosier seniors who will be playing in their final game for the Cream and Crimson.

17- Turnovers forced by the Hoosiers this season.  They have converted those into 77 points.

54- Total touchdowns scored by the Hoosiers in 2013, a school record.

13.0- Points per game averaged by Purdue in 2013, 122nd nationally.  The Boilers give up 36.4 points per contest, which ranks 110th in the country.

The Hoosiers should roll over a truly bad Purdue team on Saturday to end the season on a high note and return the Bucket to Bloomington for the first time since 2010.
