Camion Patrick, WR, East Mississippi CC, Knoxville, TN, 247 Sports Composite Ranking: 3-Star

Coach Wilson announced via Twitter that East Mississippi Community College wide receiver Camion Patrick would be joining Indiana’s 2015 recruiting class. The Hoosiers worked hard to add some bigger-bodied receivers to the team during this recruiting cycle and at 6-foot 2, 215, Patrick definitely fits that mold.

The talented wide-out had an outstanding 2014 season, catching 42 passes for 631 yards and 12 TDs for a Lion’s team that went undefeated and won the NJCAA Championship. Patrick was a former four-star commit to Tennessee out of high school in the 2013 class, however things did not work out and landed at East Mississippi Community College. Having only played one season for East Mississippi, the future Hoosier pass-catcher has three years of eligibility remaining.

Patrick’s combination of size and experience will give him an opportunity to contribute immediately for the Hoosiers. “My size has been a key to my success, I'm not your average-sized outside receiver, and that really helps when you're going up against defensive backs who sometimes are 5-8 and 175 pounds," the talented receiver said in a December interview with the Knoxville News Sentinel. He puts his physical assets to good use in his highlight tape, winning contested balls by over powering smaller defensive backs.

He is the  8th best JUCO wide receiver in the nation and also held offers from Tennessee and Kansas State.
