There will be another DJ making noise in Memorial Stadium starting in 2016, so watch out DJ Unique you have competition as the baddest DJ on Saturday's. The Hoosiers received a late-night BOOM from down south as three-star defensive end DJ Wonnum pledged his services to Kevin Wilson's program.
Wonnum, from Stone Mountain, Ga., 6-foot-4 225-pound defensive end. He is rated by 247Sports as the 124th best player in the state. While he needs to add weight before hitting the field in the Big Ten Wonnum has the body that Kevin Wilson and his staff are looking for (Enter Keith Caton). He also played tight end in high school. His frame and athleticism should translate to the Big Ten.
Wonnum originally committed to Iowa State in June before de-committing in November after the staff change in Ames. He was on campus in Bloomington for an official visit last weekend. Wonnum's commitment gives the Hoosiers 14 in the class of 2016 and they sit at 12th in the Big Ten and 69th nationally.
