At their annual event introducing the newest recruiting class to hundreds of Hoosier fans the Indiana football program announced several important updates including the dates for the start of spring football and the spring game as well as a coaching staff change.

Indiana announced Thursday evening that Nick Sheridan will be coaching tight ends in 2019 after spending the last two seasons coaching the quarterbacks. Sheridan replaces departed coach Mike DeBord. Incoming offensive coordinator Kalen DeBoer will now be coaching the quarterbacks in addition to calling the plays.

At the same event, Indiana announced several important dates for fans to mark on their calendars:

  • Spring Practice will start March 2nd

  • The Spring Game will be held on Friday, April 12th

  • Pro Day will be held on April 2nd
