The Big Ten conference announced Monday morning that Indiana freshman linebacker Tegrey Scales earn a share of the Big Ten Freshman of the Week Award. Scales, was instrumental in the Hoosiers' 31-27 upset win at 18th ranked Missouri on Saturday. He made five tackles and a sack. On the season Scales has 17 tackles, 1.5 TFL's, and a sack. Scales was a three star recruit out of Cincinnati, Ohio and ranked as the 24th best player in the state.
The Indiana Hoosier players are continuing to reap the rewards of playing in an offense that averaged 38.4 points per contest as junior quarterback Nate Sudfeld was named to the Manning Award watch list on Thursday afternoon.
